  • Can I make changes to my booking after I reserve my date?
Many times brides secure us for their big day, but aren’t able to confirm the exact number of services at the time of booking. In these cases, it’s always best to book us for what you know is confirmed and add on services later up to 90 days before your day. Please let us know as soon as possible in order for us to secure additional artists if needed and/or include an early start time etc.
  • Do you have a minumum?
On Saturdays during the months of February -June and September-November, we require a $1100 minimum for wedding services booked. (This does not apply to special events.) The total is determined by the services booked only, as the minimum requirement cannot be met by the travel fee or any other fee.
  • When is the final payment due?
For weddings, final payment is invoiced 3 weeks before the wedding date with the final payment due no later than the day of the event, sent and confirmed via Zelle® or debit/credit card (3.5% fee). If people are paying individually for their services, please accumulate beforehand so we receive only the total remainder per your contract and any other day of additions (service additions, etc.). The person(s) who signed the contract are responsible for the entire balance of the final payment. For on-location hair and makeup (all other events), a deposit is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due at time of service.
  • What brands do you use?
For makeup, some of our favorite brands are Era airbrush, Makeup ForEver, Armani, Tom Ford, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Makeup by Mario, DIOR and Bobbi Brown. For hair, we really love Kenra, Color Wow, Big Sexy and L'anza. Part of what is so great about the beauty industry is the variety of options, so we can continue to test and try new products out to figure out the best ones to add to our kits.
  • What’s the difference between traditional foundation and airbrush
While airbrush makeup is sprayed onto the face, a traditional application is applied with a brush, sponge, or fingertips. Both methods can be used to create a flawless, durable finish. One of the big misunderstandings about airbrush makeup is that it is waterproof. Waterproof makeup can be applied by hand or by airbrush and the method of application does not impact how long the makeup lasts. Everyone has different skin types and different needs, so it’s important to have a foundation that is customized to fit those specific needs.
  • What if my hair is too short or thin for the style I want?
May we suggest clip-in or halo extensions? If you want long, lush locks for one event, it’s best just to go with these type of extensions. It’s also great because next time you want that effect, you’ll already have them! Clip-ins and halo's are a great option for length and fullness. We have proudly partnered with HALOCOUTURE® and offer extensions for our brides wanting to go this route. Some hairstyles simply can’t be recreated without a halo or a few packs of extra hair, so feel free to ask us about our extensions. Hair color matching and consultations are always complimentary!
  • When do I schedule my preview?
For a bridal preview, we recommend thinking about how your skin and/or hair may change before your big day. If you plan to do anything that could change your look, then it’s definitely best to have your preview when you’re going to be as close to your “day of self” as possible. Usually, this is between 30-60 days out from your big day. It’s also important to note that your hair and makeup should coordinate with your dress and vision for your wedding so having those decided on by your preview date is also extremely helpful in giving you the best experience possible.
  • What days are previews available?
Previews are available weekdays as brides are our number one priority with weddings on weekends. Sessions are scheduled at 9 am or 1pm. Weekend sessions may be available outside of peak season (December - January and June - August)
  • Where does the bridal preview take place?
Currently we travel to your location for your preview session for your comfort and convenience. We are excited to offer in studio services at our new location Spring 2025!
  • How long does the preview session take?
Typically, each service during a preview or a trial takes between 1 hour - 1.5 hours. So, if you’re getting a hair and makeup preview, it will take anywhere between 2 and 4 hours to complete. This is due to the nature of the experience vs. the day of your event. As not only are you getting your hair and/or makeup done by a professional artist whatever the look you’re going for, but you’re also discussing your vision and needs, getting any of your questions answered about the day of, possibly adding hair extensions, and we’re getting to know you and the story of your love!
  • Can I use my preview for engagement photos, party or bridal shower?
You totally can. However, we really don’t recommend it. Your bridal preview is meant to show and test out your look for your big day and dedicate that time to creating your desired wedding day look. Most likely, you’re going to want a different look for your engagement photos, party or shower. And sometimes, brides don’t want their partner to see how they look before their big day. We offer hair and makeup for our booked brides at special pricing for engagement, boudoir, bridal shower and rehearsal.
